    I just got MyDVD for CD hoping it would be that same answer to my problems that Tenest mentioned.

    Here's the question: COULD MyDVD be the solution for distributing short promo clips in high quality video with great menus? I'm looking for the soft. with the greatest ease of use for the end user. I can't mail a CD to somebody and include directions like, "open windows media player, or download one of these players from these sites. . . then click open and browse the CD to find the .dat files then click on the . . ."

  2. P.S. that's why I like the runtime version of WinDVD that's burned with the video.

  3. BTW another drawback of MyDVD is that -- I think -- it converts (remuxes?) everything to DVD (.vob?) format and this takes a LONG time. What took the longest was something called "transcoding audio file" for each clip.
