Hi,
Using Ifoedit v0.96 on my XP machine at home.
Ripped movie to HDD using DVDecryptor
Opened Video_ts.ifo using Ifoedit.
Click on "PlayDVD" and comes up with message box showing what codecs i have isntalled.
Then i think another message box appears saying something like "Correct Codec not installed" or something. I have Nimo Codecs Pack and DivX codecs and BSPlayer.
Then Windows Error report comes up and closes Ifoedit.
Is ifoedit compatible with XP? Do i need to have a special codec installed?
The ripped movie works when i run it in PowerDVD and has all encryption region information decrytped.
I will try to get the exact messages if need be but was wondering if someone has had this problem before and knows a quick fix for it.
Thanks in advance

I don't know a quick fix. I do know IFOEdit works on XP. I've used it.
Only other thing I'd say is that codec "packs" can and have been the cause of messing up other software. Lots of threads and warnings about them and the potential damage they can cause.
Most anyone here would recommend you remove any packs and only install individual codecs as and when you need them.
This may not be the cause of your problem, but it is good practice nonetheless. There's no place like 127.0.0.1
The Rogue Pixel: Pixels are like elephants. Every once in a while one of them will go nuts.
