    When ripping a DVD with Smart Ripper the rip speed I'm given is only around 1.3x , Would this be correct ? even though the Creative DVD claims to be a 12X ?

    my creative 12x pcdvd usually starts at 5-6x and will go up to a max of 11.4x at the end. if you want suggestions on how to get better rip speeds do a search of the forum... ive seen this topic posted tons of times.
