  1. Okay I love this program but I am not sure how to change the bitrate. Right now I am trying to author Dare Devil and it has a 9800kbps of video and 448kbps of audio off the dvd. Well this is all fine and dandy but it will not allow me to proceed without caution (this is not a standard dvd). I would like to know what I do and how do I go about changing the bit rate if that's indeed what needs to be done.

Also I have tried to copy the Italian Job DVD I have. When DVDShrink analyzes it, it will freeze at the same scene each time. What needs to be done?

    Thanks in Advance,

  2. I don't think TMPGEnc DVD Author can do any sort of reencoding, so you can't change the bitrate within this program. If TMPGEnc DVD Author is telling you to proceed with caution, why not just proceed and see what happens?

On your Italian Job DVD, did you try ripping to your hard drive first, with DVD Decrypter, before using DVD Shrink? This might help. Here's a previous thread that helped me with similar problem:

  3. Well, It says that the disk will not be supported on most DVD players or something of that sort because it's not a standard dvd (bitrate etc). I just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem?

It's probably VBR and that's just the max. Try it anyway
