I would try using an X-Acto knife and some rubbing alchohol.

This is just a hint, price labels on the DVD covers.

I don't know about removing labels from pictures. It hard to clarify what the question is and what this is about?

Anyway, this bit about “removing label” rings a bell on annoying price labels on DVD covers. They can be at times very hard to remove. Someone should try using Methylated Spirits or 60% pure alcohol such as vodka to remove them.

I sometimes buy blank DVD covers for this reason to replace damaged covers due to the labels, the stickers and so on. I never go back to any store that sells DVDs with stickers or labels on them.

A “Civic Video” store in Australia was the most annoying of them all with the stickers all over it. I’ll never come back to them as the removals wasted a lot of time. The DVD covers were later replaced as too difficult to remove.

For DVDs, I now only shop at stores with the DVD as is from the manufacture without any label or sticker on them.

In fact, one Parramatta retailer in Sydney does put an extra plastic clear sheet over them so that the customer doesn’t have to worry about the annoying labels.

The retailer is JB Hi-Fi. Check out: http://www.jbhifi.com.au/. Sorry, they don’t sell online and can be good place to buy movies in person.

You can mask the logo with the clone function.

No. You can't remove a logo and magically keep what was behind it. :c)How complicated it is to do depends on how complicated the logo is and what is behind it. You can use a combination of clone tool to duplicate surrounding areas and paint tools to redraw what was once there.
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1
