  1. I experience that some of my avi movies files crashes my player programs, such as WinDVD, BSplayer, WinMediaPlayer and others and the same happen when I try to check these files properties in (file)-explore and an error-report is generated.
But if I check these files in GSpot, it tells me that they are real Divx (5) movies. I can even see different frames of them in VirtualDub.
I also scanned for errors in VirtualDub (1.5) found 3 frame-errors, saved as new avi file. But still the same error.

Have anybody experienced the same problem with avi files and what could be the reason. As it is now, I’m deleting the files and try to fine other more playable file.
    I’m running 1,5GHz -256Mb RAM – NVIDIA GeForce4 - XP home-edition.
