  1. Hi there this is an encoding timescale question. How long does it take I’m using Panasonic mpeg 2.5 encoder and it take rather a long time 3 hour for 50 min.
I know there are other encoders out there but are they any quicker and if so what are they ray

Ok I’m trying to encode a 350mb avi file with the Panasonic 2.5 mpeg 1 encoder, it takes on average about 3h.30min to encode 50 min of video on to mpeg video audio stream and if this is normal then well that fine but if not then what’s a better programme to use. Thanks for the input, also is there any really good guides or links out there faq that sort of thing thank a lot ray

  5. If you use avi2vcd audio decompresser and run TMPEnc after, you will be eable to encode an 800 mg avi file in 4-5 hours.
