My old Norcent DVD player crapped out on me a few weeks ago. So I went and bought a Sony DVP-NS325 at Zellers (I work there and get a discount). It's working perfectly aside from playing the VCDs I've burned. For some reason the sound is a second too slow and the video stutters. Now, these very same VCDs worked fine on the Norcent. Also, I've VCDs made by other people and they work just fine on the Sony.
Now, all of my VCDs are Anime Digisubs. Most of them from AnimeSuki. I just download them and then use AheadNero to encode and burn them. I've also used Avi2Vcd to encode and then Windows XP buring software to do the same thing. In both cases the VCDs have the same problems.
Does anyone know why this is? I'd like to know if there's something I can do before I go and return it.

No help?
I also tried this guide: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/91597.php
But when the files finished encoding, they had lost subtitle support! How can I fix this?
Any help will do!
