finding cheap 4x media for DRU500a

Using the Sony DRU500a, has anyone gotten any -r 4x media to burn @ 4x, other than big name brands (Verbatim, Sony, etc.)?

I've tried:

DUP-EZ 4x -r (Man. ID: Leaddata, max 2x)
Ritek 4x -r (Man. ID: G04, max 2x)
Imation 4x -r (Man. ID Ritek G04, max 2x)

all the burns have been completed great with no errors, but I'm looking to get what I paid for (to burn 4x on 4x discs).

i haven't been able to find a complete compatability chart for the DRU500a and associated media.

Anyone have any insight? thanx

I couldn't get the Ritek -R G04's to burn at 4X on my DRU500AX untill I re-flashed from current fw 2.0g back to the older fw 1.0d. I also had to set the IDE controller to: Standard dual channel PCI IDE. I'm running Win XP Pro w/Nero 5.5.10.28
Now I burn a full DVD-R in 15 in. instead of 28 min.
