Can't erase DVD-RW

I have a Mexell DVD-RW I have used Nero B's burning software to try and erase but it says Internal target failure does any one know what this means please..

Uhm, and maybe you've got also a Lg burner?
Anyway, some had the same problem (me too, try the search engine) and found the only solution is to use another burner, of a different brand, to erase.
It works, now I erase my Maxell -RW with other softwares using the Lg and haven't had any problems yet.

nonostante what software do you use can you tell me a bunch of software that will erase a DVD-RW and yes I have a LG 2x great burner I have only had problems with Media never the burner

Dvd Decrypter, it's free.

You can download DVDInfoPro from the tools section on the left side. It will fix your DVD-RW and erase it.
