Hello, my camcorder doesnt allow me to download to my PC. I want to be able to transfer to VHS and then to VCD. I have a wintv capture card. What software is available for me to achieve this? Cheers

Your camcorder should capture to mpeg-1, then you should convert to mpeg-1 VCD format. If you have Ulead Video Studio, it can capture in mpeg-1 VCD (trial ware). You should not transfer to VHS, then to VCD, you are taking an unnecessary step. If you cannot capture in mpeg, then capture in AVI with Virtual Dub, then use TMPGEnc with its templates to convert to VCD mpeg.

Sorry, I need to clarify. Your computer hardware should try to capture your camcorder video to MPEG. Your camcorder probably does not output MPEG video. So when you are capturing, see if you can find a program that can capture your camcorder video into MPEG format. Sorry.
