With the advent of TSCV, I'm trying to make some VCD's instead of my usual SVCD's. It turns out that my Apex 703 is actually kind of picky when it comes to playing XVCD's. My most reliable method is to encode audio with Toolame, and a higher bitrate video stream with Panasonic standalone. I mux the two with TMPGenc using VCD-Non-Standard setting and all is well.
So now I tried encoding video (23.97fps, bitrate 1850) from a DVD2AVI project using TMPGenc along with the corresponding audio from Toolame. When I try to mux the two using TMPGenc and the VCD-non-standard setting it ends and gives an error message saying "17 s packets cause buffer underflow".
Can anyone offer help or tell me if it's possible to use the DVD2AVI project file with Panasonic stand-alone?
