An Alternative to Kazaa Lite++??

For the last three days Kazaa Lite++ is working very slowly. Would you please advise me about the programs which you are currently using? I will download Divx.

That's the problem. It is not really a "beginner question" of the type that are posted here.

If you look over even just the first page of thread titles on this page, you'll see the nature of the sort of topics discussed here.

I, personally, don't think that's a very good place to begin.

I can't help you. I don't download video files from P2P - ever.

No one downloads Movie trailers off of Kazaa, you go straight to the studio site and get them off an OC3 webfarm. People that say that are the same ones that think Sadamm Hussein isn't guilty of anything because there wasn't any smoking chemical weapons.


Asking for alternative P2P methods is outside the pervue of this site. This site is about video/audio encoding/re-encding/backups/captures/authoring.

Kazaa is incredibly slow because of the 100's of evidence bots crawling through it (hint hint hint) as well as the Garbage bots that are sending false data (with the correct checksum) to corrupt your downloads. To use Kazaa you need to block a few 100,000's of IP's to keep the crapola out.

Backup your Movies from DVD, you get better results.

Here we go again.....Do you think we could talk about P2P n downloading without everyone posting..YOU ARE BAD, WAREZ ARE EVIL, etc , etc.

Asa judge recently pointed out..using P2P isnt illegal in its self, it can be used for illegal and legal purposes the same as your VHS or DVD writer.

Actually Ive noticed kazza does seem to be a bit crappy recently, the only films ive downloaded are porn though.....But generally it does seem very slow or cant find anything.

there are many legal downloads available on kazaa and other p2p programs, not all material is copyrighted, dont condemn someone just because they ask about p2p sharing, they may not be doing anything illegal.

other p2p programs include.

winmx and edonkey, there are many other that you can use just do a search for p2p on google.

remember though downloading copyrighted material is illegal and could leave you open to prosecution
