  1. that's the error i get when i try and go VIDEO_TS -> VCD with the quick preset. i have a feeling this is something beyond me so i didn't really mess with any of the settings when i tried to encode it.

    VIDEO: mpeg-2, size: 720x480, 23.976 fps w/3:2, 7500 kbps. AUDIO: ac3, 48000Hz, 448 kbps.

    that's the info for the video_ts source.

    can anyone help? did i mess something up?
    thanks =)

  2. Please post the whole process output, not just the error message.

  4. The reason is, as documented in the manual, VIDEO_TS input is not available for mpeg-1 encoding right now. So select CVD or SVCD instead of VCD, and enable the "Decode with mplayer" option - or for VCD, use VOB input instead.

  5. yiikes... simple as that, huh?
    thanks a lot for answering my stupid question!
