In Vegas I was wondering for the highest quality video for a DVD should I just put Render at best and video quality at Highest or should I manually change the bitrate settings and if yes whats the optimal setting?

Should I use the Mpeg2 setting or DVD ?

    dvd settings
    31 (max) for range

    or
    vbr 2000 7800 9000

use "good" instead of best UNLESS you are resizing your picture from a smaller image... best is only required for resizing issues and will add a lot of time in rendering ..

    select 10bit
