  1. O.K. this is a partial repost but I have gotten nowhere and i'm about to have a nervous breakdown.

    Help me someone please.

I am encoding material captured via Firewire from a Sony DSR-PD150P

I am using premiere and encoding using CCE 2.67.011

the captured source plays fine an looks fine.

I am using various options to encode the video stream only and when I play back the video stream

    it seems slightly fast...???

looking at the time counter on the player (Sonic CinePlayer or others), the counter is not constant it counts one secound then the next too soon.. then the next takes a proper second, it's like it's playing back.. the seconds 1,.5,1,.5,1,.5,1,.5

What is going on... the encoder is set to 25FPS i'm using PAL encosing to PAL...

    WTF is going on..

    any help would be appreciated

  2. try using a different encoder, like TMPGENC. if the video from that plays back fine, you'll know you have a problem with CCE.

TMPGENC is also reputedly better quality than CCE too.
