Hi everybody,
I've spent some night working on maestro and now I burn dvds with intro, movie with chapters, multiple soundtrack, multiple subtitles and menus with quite elaborate overlaying graphics... and here is the problem: at first I tried to add looping music to the static menu (in 'playback control' tab -> 'audio stream') but didn't hear nothing; then I tried to put a video stream as background, but neither moving pictures nor sound.
In both cases, I've set the menu control to loop: what could the problem be? I've read many guides, but I can't figure out where is the fault.
Sorry for the english and thank you
Fabrizio

I think the lack of response may be too few of us are lucky enough to own Maestro.
Have you looked at the Guides here: https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=8#comments
Perhaps something in the Guides can help. or lead you to more users.
I notice there are only 2 owner comments, which is is line with my first statement. There's no place like 127.0.0.1

mmm... yes, I think you're right, Maestro isn't a very popular program for obvious reasons...
anyway, I've resolved: motion and audio don't show in real time preview, but saving the dvd image and mounting it with deamon works properly.
thanks anyway for the answer! -
You're welcome. :c) Glad to see you've solved it. Have fun.

I have cinemaster engine, preview was already working properly, only motion menus had problems.
Thanks anyway, help offers are always welcome, I'll surely bother you in case... -
I'm just getting ready to start playing with motion menus. I'd like to video in thumbnails on the menu but have no idea where to start. In the past i've created static menus using photoshop.

mmm... I've read in other posts that there are many solutions.
I use After Effects (photoshop for video) 'cause I know it very well, but it's neither easy to use, nor cheap. -

Page 3 has motion thumbnails.
Also, for zero extra cost, you can render a motion menu with avisynth and vdub. I wrote a guide to generally do this. It uses dvd-lab, but with some simple changes, you don't need dvd-lab. Especially since you know photoshop.
Post in that guide Q/A (or a new thread) if you care, and I'll post the changes.I mean it in the nicest way. -
i had the same problem because i was trying to make motion meus exporting them as mov files first then converting them to m2v
try (whatever you use to make the motiones) exporting them to avi
it worked fine for meNot being loved... unfortune...

I"ve used Photoshop, Premiere, and ReelDVD to great effect when making motion menus.
