MemoriesOnTV crashes whenever I try to burn a slideshow of any significant size onto DVD. The problem occurs during the "Generating Disc Image" phase of the process after all the videos for the albums and tracks have been made. The process of generating the disc image has been between 6% and 19% complete when the program crashes. I get a typical Windows message that MemoriesOnTV has encountered a problem and needs to close, they are sorry for the inconvenience and any information I was working on may be lost. It then gives me the option to send an error report to Microsoft. The slideshow I am trying to burn has two albums with 6 tracks in the first album and 8 tracks in the second. The entire slideshow appears to be a little larger than half the capacity of the DVD (according to the bar at the bottom of the screen). The number of
pictures in each track ranges from 7 to 180. If I burn a significantly smaller slideshow (maybe 1/10th the DVD\'s capacity), the program burns successfully and does not crash. I'm using Windows XP Home SP1 on a P4 system with about 35 GB free on my hard drive. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I may be doing wrong? Thanks.

It sounds like you are filling up a buffer, or more likely a temporary file. Perhaps this is set up only for cdr capacity approx 750mb and not DVD capacity (4.3gb) Check the temp file is not being stored on a disk that hasnt enough room. Email tech support.
Or is this the much trumpeted "ken burms effect":P

Thanks for your help. Do you know how I would check to see if I am filling up a buffer or temporary file? I don't see anywhere in the program where I can change that or change the capapcity for DVD vs. cdr. (I did set the program for DVD vs. VCD or the other options at the beginning. Is there something else I am missing?) Also, I did e-mail tech support a couple times, but, other than a request for more info a couple weeks ago, I have not heard from them.
I actually had more hope for the much trumpeted "ken burms effect"
