Right click on the executable and run it in XP compatibility mode

    Hi Soopafresh,

thanks for your reply - i tried several settings (win XP SP2/3 and Vista SP1/2) but no way. As soon as i choose the DVD-Folder, the programm crashes - strange. I did also several reinstallations but without success.

In the meanwile i got it work - dont know how - but Star Trek 11 hangs in Win7 MediaCenter at TimeIndex 1:10:15.
Now i tried a Freeware called "XMedia Recode". This Software can also convert a DVD in a single MPEG-File
    without "re-encoding"

And now, we have 3 funny things:

    1) its much faster then VOB2MPG PRO
    2) Star Trek 11 works fine now - very funny because V2M Pro cant still do this film
    3) it cost no money

Shame on the programmers - i spent mony for nothing

I am running Windows 7 64-bit and am having the same problems. I haven't been able to select a VIDEO_TS folder from either a DVD drive or harddrive. I tried all the above suggestions:

1 - Run setup.exe in Compatibility Mode XP SP2/3 as Administrator.
2 - Run VOB2MPG.exe in Compatibility Mode XP SP2/3 as Administrator.

    What should I do now?

    Thanks.

I got the same problem on my machine Win 7 64.
The standard version is running without any problems, but the pro version which I paid for is crashing when trying to open a dvd.

Is there a solution for this?

    Thanks

Loaded it normally on about 3 machines with 64bit win 7. Maybe you need a clean install.
