  1. Ok,
Well, I have been doing "Dvd-ripping" to VCD for over a year now. And I may getting a DVD-Recorder for christmas. So, I thought that I would get a head-start on preparing myself on how to do about "ripping" dvds to dvdr's. I have looked through a few guides, but they all use different software than what I am used to ?!

I used Sefy's guide to learn to do VCD's. Could U lead me to just 2 "best providing" guides ?

Just to let you'll know my computer specs:
    AMD Athlon 1.0G
    138M Ram
    30G Hard Drive
    16x Lite-On DVD Rom Drive
    HP 9300+ Cd Writer

    Thanks,
    Scott

You also might want to look for the autoshrinkiso thread and get the tools to use it, since they are freeware. This is the route I will try first, as I'm going to be starting to back things up.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
