Based on the many good comments on this website, I purchased an ASUS TV Tuner card. I was able to find an OEM card at Ebay last week. I downloaded the drivers from ASUS and then downloaded PowerVCR from Cyberlink. The card and the software installed with no problems. I clicked on PowerVCR and scanned the channels. The tv picture looked good but after about 1 minute, it would freeze. I would continue to get audio. Thinking it may be just a display problem, I tried recording a few minutes of video. During record, the screen froze at the usual point but I continued to record. I stopped and viewed the captured file and discovered that the video froze in the recorded file also. However, I continued to record audio. So far I have tried to re-install the drivers, uninstall the anti-virus software and move the card to a different PCI slot, all with no luck. I am hoping someone will recognize the problem and offer some things to try. Any help or comments are welcome. Thanks!
