I've got trial versions of;
Sonic MyDVD Deluxe 5
TMPGEnc DVD Author
What I want to do is make a DVD of my home movies and pictures.
The features I want are;
- Chapter creation (I like the way TMPGEnc has each frame as an image when creating them)
- Easy menu creation (I like MyDVD so far)
- Motion menus
- Slide show creation with music and fade options(Like MyDVD, does TMPGEnc do this)
- Software that will create or let me create sub-menus of the chapters of the movies.
- Ability to adjust Contrast, Brightness, etc.
- Main menu that can be created with text links to sub-menus. Like current movie DVD's are done.
As you can see, Im new to this. It seems like what I want is a combination of the two listed above. Or is there one package that does all of that?
If not, Can I create the chapters in TMPGEnc and import them into MyDVD Deluxe 5?
Thanks!
Jeff

Yes, there are packages that do it all - and they're either good for learning (the low cost type) or used by pros (the high cost type).
Most people end up with an arsenal of progs later in the game.
Look in TOOLS under Editors, Advanced Editors, Authoring to see what's available and people's comments about them.
I learned on Ulead VideoStudio - available in Trial version. You can go from capture to burning your first disc with that. Then move on if you choose.There's no place like 127.0.0.1
The Rogue Pixel: Pixels are like elephants. Every once in a while one of them will go nuts.
