  2. use a prog like smartripper to rip the vob's, then use dvd2avi,
end result will be a stereo wave file and an indexfile (which you dont need
    for audio).
then cut it with cooledit or another wave editor and then burn your audiocd.

If you want dts on CD-R, that's more complicated

Just use smartripper to demux the source. It will demux every audio file that you tell it to.

  4. Smartripper rips DVDs NOT DTS Audio discs and NOT DVD-Audio discs.

DTS Audio discs are CDs with a DTS encoded WAV on them. To rip it youd need a DTS to Wav program, I dunno if there are any. An easy solution would be to use something like Total Recorder to record what you actually here.

DVD-Audio discs are encrypted by CSS2 (which is uncracked) therefore cant be copied by using tools like Smartripper or DVD decrypter. If you browse in a DVD Audio disc, you will find AOB files inside the Audio_ts folder.

  5. Thanks for the suggestions but it's not the solution that I was hoping for. Anyone with any more ideas?
