  1. i want subs gone on my avi file but ive no clue on how to do it please help!!

    if the subs are hard encoded to the avi file then you cant remove them

    If they bother you, the best you can do is block them out with an overlaid box. You'd just need a video editing program with overlay capabilities. But, of course, you'll see this block instead of the text.

    You could use a log removal filter in Virtualdub, but that's probably the hardest option and may not be worth the effort. It would basically blend/smear the area where the subtitles show.

    Or, if they are very low, you could crop them out and lose the bottom portion of the vid.

    Depends which you'd rather see. :c)
