Whenever i encode a avi(divx) file to mpeg2 for dvd i get alot of pixlization during sceens that are dark of have alot of black in them. Is there a setting that will help get rid of them. Here are the setting i curently use.

    Rate control = 2pass vbr

DC component persision = 10 bit

    Motion Search = High quialty

gop = only detect sceen change checked

    Quantize matrix = MPEG Standard
Output YUV data as Basic YCbCr not CCIR601
    Use floating point DCT

    Increase the bitrate.
    Lower the resolution.

And remember, garbage in garbage out....and divx has usually problem with areas with same colors(check backgrounds walls with same color and you often see pixelations).
