Hey everyone. I think I am in the market for a camcorder but I am not sure which one. I know I want it to be a digital camcorder because of the superior quality and what not. However, I do not know how often I would use it. I would use it alot when I am back home with friends but during school the only time I would really use it is for transfering tapes and stuff to the computer.
Now.....can a decent one be bought for around 300-400? I would like a good one that has firewire and can play back analog tapes because that is what I have the most of right now. Any help is appreciated.
Also should I just save my money and wait? Is there something around the corner that will be better then a normal digital camcorder? Thanks for the suggestions.
Hatz

Anyways, thanks for the reply everyone. Looks like I will have to wait till Christmas to see if Santa brings me any goodies
