What gives? The files seem to play fine in VLC but the doctor is having a bit of a problem with them. Anybody know of workaround?? I would love to be able to open them in QuickTime and export them as Mpeg2 for authoring. HELP!!

Try getting the latest QT divx codec from divx.com available here. This should let you play most divx files in QT without the need for Divx Doctor or Divx Validator.
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté." -
