    Up until yesterday when I upgraded sound card drivers and ati MMC, I captured sound fine to MPEGs. Now today I get picutre and no sound. Anyone know why this is happening? Anyone experience this?

    Have you selected line-in as the source in ATI MMC?Also check the recording volume level.

    With ATI you have to do everything in exactly the right order , which
    is frequently not specified. I'd start with reloading any
    sound drivers that came with the sound card or motherboard.

    You might also check line-in levels and audio source settings
