You can make a disk image using Imgtools classic. Just do a web search. This is how I make all my DVDs. After authoring, I create an image then burn it in DVD Decryptor.

  3. Acutally it's not that simple. DVDs use a file structure NOT a file format. You can not just cut/paste pieses of a DVD around like a normal video clip.

If you only ripped the main movie you're lacking some of the necessary file for the complete DVD file structure (eg. VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.VOB).

You can do this with IFOEdit (load the IFO file, click 'get VTS sectors'). Once you have a complete VIDEO_TS folder with the correct file structure, you can use IMGTools + DVD Decrypter to burn.

  4. You can do it only with DVD-5 which fit into a single DVD-R:
Open DVD Decrypter and go Mode->ISO->Read. After it finishes ripping the DVD then go Mode->ISO->Write and write the ISO file that now is in your disk!
If the DVD is 6-7GB you need to use DVD Shrink first.
