  1. Hi

I want to capture homevideos from VHS.
I use programs from Ulead, VIdeo Capture.
I seem to get at delay in the sound.
Because if I capture long videos they get more out of sync, the longer the video.
I have an Avermedia TV card to capture from.

I wonder if anyone have some tips on this, or anyone have an example of Video Capture program, which automatically can caputer in several files.
I mean that for example after 10 minutes the capture will contiune in a new file.

Search in the box upper right of this page for "audio video synch (or sync)". You will find enough threads to keep you reading for days. :c)

    Good luck.

  3. i have pretty good success with virtualvcr when capping vhs tapes

also since you give so little details, the problem may be with the tapes or your system too, not just the software you are using

That might seem like a solution to your synch problem, but you are liable to end up with even more aggravating issues when you go to edit things back together. Not to mention the added time & effort.

Best to sort out the A/V synch problem altogether.

  5. Hi:

I was having exactly the same problem.
I was using Pinnacle Studio 8 for capture.
Now i use the ScenalyzerLive and its perfect. It gives a very good quality and i do not have any problems with the Audio / Video Sync.
