DVD+R WILL NOT PLAY

Hi,

I am sick of making coasters and would like some help if possible. I am new to this dvd burning, and am having a problem. I am using "DVD shrink to rip, and two different burning programs and none of my DVD+R disks will play or for that matter even read on the computer using explorer after burning.

First when burning I am asked what file. I rip all files to /foldermame" lets say. When Decryptor askes for the file location it defaults to .IMG file type. I change it to "ALL TYPES" and then click on VIDEO_TS and let it go. Is that correct ? The details does give a clue...a warning I see when scroling it says "Cant change book type to DVD-ROM" What does that mean ? Anyway like I said it won't even show up when I click on the dvd drive in explorer and when trying to play in power dvd it says DVD-video playback graph building failed. I am using a new Plextor 708A. I have burned severel DVD-R disks with "Xcopy as a trial but was hoping to be able to do it with some of the standalone shareware programs.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Use DVD shrink to make a folder with ifo bup and vobs (You've allready done that). Use Nero (Video DVD setting to burn to disk. Nero will create the VIDEO_TS folder and all you have to do is drag ALL of the files that DVD shrink created into the VIDEO_TS folder in Nero and hit the burn button.
