Problem authoring DVD in DVD-loab, please help-

Well, the problem is the next:

I make the menus, the movies ... in DVD-lab, i record the DVD in nero and everything is ok. But if in DVD-lab, I put music or sound in any menu, the menu goes wrong, only one link is selected.


any solution or is a bug in DVD-lab?

make sure your audio for your menu is EXACTLY THE SAME FORMAT as the audio in your movies - if you mix formats (ie. AC3 in your movie and WAV in your menu), screwy things happen.

how did you encode your mpeg in the first place? use that same encoder.

my video is a mpeg that I captured off of my video card. I then used tmpgenc to edit it. its now a mpeg and the audio I am using is a .WAV but Id like to use some of my .MP3's... how do I get them to be playable?

you need to convert the mp3 to wav - look in the Tools section at left for audio software that can convert your files.

BeSweet wouldn't create a compatible MP2 file from a WAV source. It wouldn't up-sample to 48K nicely.

HeadAC3 worked perfectly at upsampling to 48K (My WAV's were at 44.?K)

All with DVD-Lab.

OK I finally got music on my MENU by using the Headache audio program. but when the dvd loads the audio is to fast... it sped it up for some reason. the WAV file it created from my mp3 is fine though. why did DVD-Lab do this?

did you create a wav file at 44.1khz (cd sample rate) or 48Khz (dvd sample rate)?

what was your original file sample rate?

if you put a 44.1khz file in, and it's expecting a 48khz file, it's going to play back about 10% faster....

Ok Im using that headache program and its giving me a headache cause I just made the stupid WAV from my mp3 and made it 48khz and it still plays to fast in the menu... what is goin wrong here? I tried to use "Besweet" and I couldnt figure that thing out.

AHH! ok Im so close....
I decided to change my mp3 to .mp2 in "headache" now when my menu pops up it plays a lil better its not as fast.... but still to fast whats goin on here? why does this thing hate me?
