Is there a sure-fire way of doing this? I have an xvid i am making into vcd. I saved the ac3 as a wav file and used it for the audio. the first cd was in sync. the second is off but I can't tell how much. I know the audio is 45.51 seconds and the video is 45.53 seconds. So two seconds which should be 2000 millseconds right. I tried using that under aduio gap in tmpgenc but no luck. I tried for an hour finding diff values to use and still not right on yet. Anyway to tell for sure exactly what audio gap you need? thanks

I think he means 45:53 or 45 min 53 secs.
Is the audio in sync at the start? Does it get progressively worse? I ask because it could be that you need to stretch the length, not add delay.
If it's out by the same amount all through then the only solution is to try different settings and use the source range function to encode short clips until you get it right."Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa
