Check the DVD players list (left of page) to see if the jvc is compatible with DVD-r

  3. it is..
it also happend to other guys that i sent my dvd-r.
can it be the brand? they allways work on my dvd but with other guys dvd's some works and some don't..
today i tested a 4 dvd's in my girlfriend dvd and 2 worked and 2 didn't. the ones that worked was verbatin and the ones that don't was other brand.. but if the problem is the brand why with one dude 1 dvd worked and other didnt when both were the same brand?

Not every player likes every type of media. Its been my experience that cheaper and lower quality media might not play back correctly if at all, usually for me higher quality (Ritek G04 -R, Memorex +R, TDK -R) work in every player I've tested them in. So far 10 players have taken every - or + R disc I've thrown at them...just gotta find a media with high stand-alone compatibility, thats all.

by the way.. i never thought my old sony dvp-f5 was such a great player cause all the media i tested there allways worked..
