Is there a way to save all your settings to a template?

When I save my settings it saves teh file I am converting and the name I'm converting it to. If I browse to a new file to convert, it reverts back to the original settings.

If I load the template again, back to the original file I was converting. Very annoying and useless.

    Any suggestions?

    LS

    Did a 2hr 43minute movie in VCD VBR in 1hr 48m.

not quite sure your problem .. you can create a new template very easy ..

then if you want -- edit it in notepad ..

it will be always on the drop down list - but if you change a setting - it will just show mpeg2 in gthe drop down instead-- which is ok (and true) ..

the profile (template) option is under "options" -> "save settings as profile"

i think you are just saving a project file -- which is useless unless you plan on re-doing something later ..

I have a AVI file with AC3 audio and it plays fine on MediapLayer. When I encode it with MC 1.4 there is no sound.

If I try to extract the audio with VDMod, it errors out even after running a DivFix on the file.

I'll try goldwave and make a seperate audio file with it and see how it goes.

    Thanks!!
