  1. Just wondering if anyone has heard of or used the Nvidia Personal cinema - If you go to nvidias web site you can see specs on it - it looks really cool - Captures anything thru your svideo port on any tv out enabled gforce card - has software for using it a a TIVO - to like pause television and stuff. it also has a remote....well if not check it out...does anyone know were I can get one?> nvidia says that only FRYIES carries it - but we dont have any in colorado....what do they go for???

    Thanks

Whoa, so nVidia is pulling a Matrox here and releasing a video capture card for their 3D accelerator, eh? Kinda like Matrox did back in the day with RoadRunner G200 and the DualHead 3D card.

This is a good idea. If they have XP drivers for the cards, GeForce3 and this nVidia Home Cinema thing, then this is definitely what I am going to upgrade to in a matter of months.

I just went to the fry's electronics site and they suck! I can't order from their site because they don't have an online store set up. WTF! Now I can't buy this, either! And nVidia doesn't sell you stuff direct, either... wtf.

    Perhaps they accept telephone orders?

I certainly hope they do! I don't have the money just yet anyway, but I went to go see their site to familiarize myself with it, so that when I do have the money, I would just go and buy it right away, and not have to look around for it or something. Probably even add it to my cart and just not check out until weeks later.

  6. You have to go to a Fry's store, they don't take online or phone orders.

  7. Sure they do. Just go to their site and check the FAQ's. It explains how you can order over the phone.
