Is there a way to have a motion menu thumbnail move, only when the cursor is on it?
I ffound that the menus look too busy if all the thumbanils are moving at the same time.
Can anyone help?
What software would have to be used?

Yeah, this can be done, but it is probably more work than it is worth.
Use a button's "AUTO ACTION" to jump to another menu with only that window playing. This new window will have to be near identical to the previous, and all other buttons will have to mapped accordingly (to other menu pages). Doing this can cause the number of buttons to rise exponentially. Scenarist and DVDMasetro can do this.ICBM target coordinates:
26° 14' 10.16"N -- 80° 16' 0.91"W -
Yes, there is a way.
You have to do a seperate menu for every thumbnail only with desired thumbnail in motion.
You can do it in DVD Maestro by setting auto-action.
BTW, you'll probably experience a short pause when changing thumbnail. -
I have also done this before and it was a pain in the rear.
Another thing that I noticed is the DVD player's read time for something like this. My JVC does not read that quick so it is almost painfully slow to navigate through the menus. But them again my fiance's Sony DVD player reads them real quick.
That DVD menu system did look real good though!
