Well Hollywood being the cheap fat bastards they are, a while back decided to skip the flipper, or God forbid a whole separate version DVD. They have seen fit to put many duel version [as in both 4:3 and 16:9] on the same DVD.
Well I guess that is a effective cost control method but it sucks for BU. I just wanted to hear from you guys as to your method of overcoming this .ifo pointer nightmare and menu extras.
I would very much like to hear from those that use IC7/8. I use IC7 most of the time for generic projects and want to here what method you have found to deal with this problem.

Doggie, sorry to post a message with no answer, but I have yet to see these titles. I have seen DVD 5 flippers galore, but no DVD 9's with 4:3 and widescreen all on the same side! I have instant copy, but do not have the time for the transcodes. If two movies are on the same side, the a 4:3 or widescreen version should fit on one dvd 5. Use DVD fab movie only and let the software create the Video_TS and ifo files?

does both versions use the same VOB ID's?
or do they use different ones?
