  1. I am using the trial version of dvdlab. No problem with adding a movie file(mpeg) to the movie 1 box. However when I attempt tp drag and drop the audio file there is no indication that that has occurred. It has to be a correct audio file because dvdlab transcoded it. According to the quick start directions, if the audio is present then I should see an "audio" label indicating the audio file has been transferred.

Why am I unable to add the audio?

    Thanks

  2. Double check a couple things for me:

    1) In the movie window, at the bottom of the filmstrip, is there a green bar that has the name of the audio file?

    2) In CONNECTIONS view, is there a musical note in the box that represents the movie?

If so, then the audio is there.

PS - thanks for at least reading the directions and help first, you'd be surprised just how rare that is around here sometimes!

  3. Thanks for replying. In answer to your questions, there is no green audio box and there is no musical note in the movie box. I even redid the whole thing again. The video attaches well. The audio was transcoded to a 48 khz file and it does play when I double click on it, however I am still unable to drag it to the movie 1 box. Both files are listed as mpv and mpa.

Also, I just went ahead and tried to compile. When I tried to run the dvd volume file it did not work. This may be due to my on board dvd software. I did not use powerdvd. I used the sonic cineplayer.

I have been using Ulead dvd movie factory 2 for most of my dvd creations. I just wanted to try something else. Maybe I should just stick with Ulead.

Anyways, I would like to get dvdlab to work so, if you can help, thanks.

If you mean the audiotrack for the movie, you don't have to drag and drop the audio to the movie1 strip, just go to the tab Audio&Video where you alresy have specified your M2V movie file, click on the folder and browse to the MP2 audio file that you have exctracted when coverting to Mpeg2. Double click on the Audio file and there it is.

  5. I already have the audio file in the access panel. the quick start directions say to then drag and drop both the movie file and the audio file in the movie 1 panel. this is the problem. The movie 1 panel does not show the audio file present.( I believe there should be a green audio box visible in the bottom portion of the movie 1 panel. Its not there.

  6. If the audio is not ataching, then there could be some issue that I am not aware of. I've not run into this before. let me look around and see if I can come up with anything.
