TMPGEnc DVD Authoring help...please

I use Tmpge 2.5 Plus to convert my AVI movies into mpeg. I then Author using the Tmpge DVD author. When I author the movie and play it in my standalone dvd player I only get the audio no video. I also get the same thing when trying to play the mpeg in my Divx player. What could I be doing wrong, why is the video not going over.

Also, is there anything else that can convert AVI's into mpeg.

In tmpgenc check so you can see the video under file->preview.
If not check www.dvdrhelp.com/tmpgenc#problems

Other avi to dvd(mpeg2) converters:

(many tools are pretty new and pretty buggy though)

Yo Bald thanks for the help man the tmpgenc help page had just what I needed. I actually removed the plus and went back to the 2.512.
