  1. i got a problem with dvd shrink once i have compressed it to 4.7GB n burn it to dvd-r with nero 6 everytime i play it back on my dvd player it gives me glitches like d video was encoded wrong can any1 help me mayb im doin something wrong ?

    Could be a media problem, can you try on a different type of disc. Practice on rw's. Also shut down all un-necessary processes while burning.

  3. i'll give that a try but i dont think its d disc type i use cos i used it on a different movie but used different methods instead of using dvdshrink and it worked fine it had no problems im using princo write once dvd-r n my burner is a sony dru-510a

    After you use dvdshrink, try playing the files that it made through a software dvd player like power dvd or win dvd. That way you could know if it is dvd shrink or nero that is giving you a problem?

    There's your problem. burn it 10 times and you may get 5 that work? Set you disk size to 3.5 GB is your using Princos.

  6. thanxs for the help guys i have tried playing back the ripped files thru powerdvd v4 n it works fine so i think it might be nero dats probably givin me problems n like i said b4 i encoded another dvd movie with tmpgenc plus the quality was superb n i burned with d software dat came with my burner n had no problems playing on my home dvd player which is a pioneer dv-344 n i have tried the disc in different players n it only had a problem on my gf's comp which was dat d movie kept freezing every 2 minutes but dats probably the dvd player she has a phillips 736k.
