Good evening, I used Cecilios way to encode a dvd. Previewed it and it looks great but when I burned it with Nero, wouldn't work. I used the mpeg output of dvd2svcd.
Btw, I am using a Pioneer dvd burner to burn the svcd, is this the problem? I have a liteon cd burner, will give it a try if the dvd burner is not able to burn svcds. TIA for any help.

Dvd =DVD format

Did you encode it as SVCD or DVD? There are compatability issues (mainly sound, but resolution also).

Thanks for the replies, I encoded as svcd. Then burned using regular cd-rs, and nero said burn process completed but when playing on my play everything norcent it won't play.
I followed the instructions on Cecilios how to, mebbe I'm missing a step?
