  1. I'm trying to write a .cue image with burnatonce. It fails and I get this log/error message:

    ERROR: Writing failed.

    Does anyone know what to do? Actually I get the "Buffer under run" error message in VCDEasy as well. I came close to completing a burn with Alcohol (burned 600mb of about 800) before the writing failed.

    I'm so close that I can taste it....

  2. Might need to update your aspi drivers.
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author

    Thanks. Ran the aspichk.exe program found on this site:

    http://www.ncf.carleton.ca/~aa571/aspi.htm

    Got errotmessage stating that ASPI was not properly installed.

    Could I use the following link to maybe correct it?

    http://download.adaptec.com/software_pc/aspi/aspi_v472.exe

    I think I have heard something about another version (v.4.61?) being better?

    Thanks for your help so far mate...

    I have now tried both the 4. 60 and the 4.72 version of ASPI. I'm still having the same problems (with all my burners I might add). Could any background programs interfer with the burning? The amount burned varies from time to time (from about 100mb to 600mb) until i crashes/freezes. It just gives up...

    I have even tried to play the 600 mb one (cut about 200mb short though), and it works fine on my Phillips 731. Can't understand why it burns fine, and then just stops writing after a while...
