  1. Whenever I convert an .avi file, even though it's in the correct aspect, ffmpgX defaults and letterboxes it so I get some nice black bars and a squished image, BUT if I uncheck the letterbox option, it processes 90% of the file and fails and quits on me.
Also, now when I try and set up MPEG's as MPEG2, it goes about 60% of the way before failing and crashing. Major, if you don't mind a small critique here, it's a GREAT program, no two ways about it, but having to download and update the program and the binaries every three and half hours to keep up is not exactly fun. Just go thru 4 or 5 revisions before you release an update, and please, simplify the GUI, maybe make an advanced settings, and a basic for those of us who don't really care about the most minute of details, if I can get this to convert my .avi's to MPEG's for VCD or DVD burning and clean up and remux my MPEG's with no hassle, then I'll happily plunk down my 15 bucks, 25 wouldn't be much to ask if it was easy enough!

This will be fixed in the next version. For now, use DivX Doctor II and encode the .mov wrapper file instead of the .avi.

Please email me the output at major4@mac.com and I'll check what it can be.

I'm now updating every week or every two weeks. You can choose to go thru 4 or 5 revisions by simply skipping 3 or 4 versions.

This will be done in version 0.1.0 (due before the end of the year).
