  1. I just bought a DVD Writer LG 4040B and burnt my home video clips on DVD-R disc using NeroDVDPlus supplied with the DVD Writer. I am able to play the DVD on my computer using WinDVD but when I inserted the disc in my standalone DVD player, KOSS KD260-2, it said "Invalid Title" and "No Disc".

Did I missed something? Or my KOSS DVD Player can't play DVD-R? I seached the info regarding KOSS KD260-2. It should be able to play DVD-R. Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks

My Pioneer hates anything authored with Nero. Although it'd begin to play, then just lock up on you.......terrible......must be a reason why there needs to be 3 revisions a week.......

I would look into the Px Engine based burn engines - ie Prassi Primo DVD or Record Now Max - Since switching I have NEVER had any issues at all

  3. well, i learned the hardway...i am now burning DVDs on generic media and it works on any stand alone DVD player. try the following:

    1. nero version 6
    2. select 'DVD-ROM UDF' wizard option
    3. within option, select UDF 1.02 - non-multisession
    4. burn it using 1X

i hope this one works for you.

  4. It seems the problem is on the burning software.

When you said "Burn it in X1", I assume you mean the setting in Nero 6. I guess I should just use the slow DVD-R disc, right?

    Thanks.
