    After authoring many DVD-Rs (doing test burns on DVD-RWs), I have managed to author a DVD with Ulead Movie Factory 2 that plays fine when burned on a DVD-RW but produces a "disc is dirty" error on my Sony DVD player when burned to DVD-R. I have tried Ritek, Maxell, and Memorex DVD-Rs, ALL of which have played fine when burned from other files. I can't figure this out. Any suggestions?

    The answer is that there appears to be a DVD-R capacity limitation on my SONY player. By reducing the project from 4.3GB to 4.2GB, I can burn a DVD-R that plays fine. I have verified this on two projects.
