  1. Hi Folks (again!)

I'm getting the hang (slowly) of menus ... but I can't figure something out ...

Today I shot 45 min of video - logically it needs to be divided into 5 'sections' - if I break each one up into it's own 'movie' then I can attach each 'movie' to a button on the menu - but when I do this, each 'movie' stops at the end, and returns to the menu (to be expected I guess).

What I'm trying to acheive is the ability to click one button and have the whole thing play from start to finish, but if I click one of the buttons, have it carry on from a particular part that's interesting (but can't figure out how to do this).

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks,

    Colin

I don't use Roxio DVD Builder. Ulead DVDWorkshop gives you a Play All button to accomplish that and you select what happens after each clip, either: a.) return to menu or 2.) play next (title) clip

If Roxio does not provide those choices, perhaps you should keep the
video as one full stream and use chapters for each of the 5 points that you'd like a menu to link to, rather than individual clips.
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1
