I just want to get an idea of the time it takes for people to run a deep analysis, If you want to post your system info for a better comparison that would be great.

It takes about 20-25 min for me, with 2.2GHZ P4, 512 DDR, lite-one 401s DVD-rw drive, 30GB crapy old IBM HD.

  2. Are we talking about an 8GB full disc or a 5GB main-movie-rip from HDD?

Sorry, I forgot to specify that. I am refering to a full disk dual layer. I always run straight from the DVD drive. Since it seems to me the total time will be less if I skip the rip to HDD part, when it is not needed with DVDshrink.
