so, first off ... wow. this is a great site!! just started this journey 3 days ago and have gotten most of the process using DVD Decrypter, DVD Fab, DVD Shrink, InstantCopy plus Hidden Editor down to a pat.
here's the problem: successfully ripped an opera disc (DVD9) and split it into 2 dics. All the files are there. No problem encoding disc 1 (fairly fast too bcos no compressing). the problem is with disc 2; i chose the .ifo file and started the encoding. but ... IC7 auotmatically reencodes it (i swear i went through the same process as with disc 1) to about half the size (i notice this as the .img file is being created in the explorer window. when burnt, as expected, the video quality was crap.
experimenting with IMG Tool and then burning with DVD Decrypter disc 2 turn out perfect (size sim to the ripped and stripped file sizes) so i know the problem is not with with DVD Decrypter or DVD Fab.
anybody else has this problem? what gives with IC7?
