    hi there, as mentioned in the header, i cant get my Denver 156 DVD player to play from DVD+R disc i burned. i tried to burn on DVD+RW disc from the exact same image, and no problems there at all.
    How can i solve this ? If i have to burn all my movies on RW's its going to be VERY expensive.

  2. I would suggest trying a different brand of DVD+R and see if that helps. According to the compatability list that player should play DVD+R

    hi, thanks for your suggeestion, appreciate it. But according to one of the people that posted under that DVD player, he mentions that it can only play DVD+R if its burned in DVD-RAM mode. How can i get my burner to burn in that format ?

    I think what you meant was if it was burnt using Dvd-Rom Book type it would play. What make of burner are you using as it is important because bitsetting read here http://dvdplusrw.org/resources/bitsettings.html

    damn.
    I have a Lite-on drive, and a denver 156 stand alone, guess there is no way at all to use DVD+R discs to record on and watch on the Denver.

  6. What DVD+R media (media code too) are you using?

    BTW: $40 cheapo players usually play anything you throw at them
