I would suggest trying a different brand of DVD+R and see if that helps. According to the compatability list that player should play DVD+R

hi, thanks for your suggeestion, appreciate it. But according to one of the people that posted under that DVD player, he mentions that it can only play DVD+R if its burned in DVD-RAM mode. How can i get my burner to burn in that format ?

I think what you meant was if it was burnt using Dvd-Rom Book type it would play. What make of burner are you using as it is important because bitsetting read here http://dvdplusrw.org/resources/bitsettings.html

damn.
I have a Lite-on drive, and a denver 156 stand alone, guess there is no way at all to use DVD+R discs to record on and watch on the Denver.
Dang it -
What DVD+R media (media code too) are you using?
BTW: $40 cheapo players usually play anything you throw at themYou stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fv<king Jacob's off.
